Hayley pursued a Media Studies degree at Western University which led her to an internship at Etalk – Canada’s number one entertainment show during the summer of 2015. After her internship placement she worked as a Production Assistant for Etalk’s official website, etalk.ca. The duties for the role included screening videos and supervising edits for extended interviews that have been posted online for their website, writing articles for etalk.ca, and helping with their social medias during the Toronto International Film Festival in 2015 and 2016. While working as a Production Assistant for Etalk during TIFF she assisted on red carpets and event production shoots. She has worked for numerous award shows such as the iHeart Radio Much Music Video Awards, CTV Upfronts, and during the award season for Etalk in 2016.
During the summer of 2016 she was a Researcher for five special episodes of The Social: Lunch Dates, a special project for CTV’s daytime talk show The Social exclusively on Bell Fibe TV. The role consisted of pitching lifestyle and current affair stories to be discussed by hosts, creating research packages, creating discussion questions for hosts, securing locations and releases as required, and assisting cameramen and producer on production shoots.
Ms. Bradbrook continued her love of pop culture for Canadian news outlet Pop & Press from 2015-2017 where she wrote the latest entertainment headlines and produced interviews for the outlet including Francesco Yates, Dragonette, Shawn Hook, and many more. The role also allowed her to own her craft in editing using software such as Adobe Premiere Pro and Photoshop. She combined her love of social media and Hollywood by posting the most up to date entertainment news on Instagram and Twitter as well as live-tweeting during award shows as the Social Media Coordinator for Pop & Press.
Hayley currently writes features, film and television reviews, chase produces interviews of A-list celebrities, and covers industry events for lifestyle and entertainment website JossBecause, as well as for her own blog.
